Waves

Oscillation- back and forth motion that repeats itself.

Amplitude- distance from the equilbrium line to the trough or crest.

Cycle- One complete back and forth motion.

Trough- Lowest point of the wavelength.

Crest- Highest point of the wavelength.

Period- amount of time needed to complete a full cycle.

Equlibrium point- point midways between the crest and trough of the wavelength.
